Sucking headers only

I've sent this question to news.software.nntp but not sure whether 
people there are able to help me out. So here it is again. Appologies of 
you are seeing it for a second time :P


I tried my damndest to find the answer in the documentation before 
posting, but had no luck. So is it possible to only fetch the headers of 
every message in my ISP's spool? At this point, newsx grabs entire 
messages, along with encoded attachments, and all.
