IIRC the answer is a simple "no".

Afaict this functionality would not be very useful, once you had fetched 
the headers and fed them to your local newsserver, you would not be able 
to refeed some of them again /with/ body - The newsserver would not 
accept them because it identifies articles by their Message-ID header.
