Scott,
I've been looking at the "accept_client" subroutine. There appears to be 
a patch to something in this subroutine. Its at 
http://lists.nocat.net/pipermail/nocat/2003-July/003431.html

Its got something to do with the UNIX alarm stuff...I am not sure what 
it does though.

Anyway, I've applied it and will keep an eye on things to see if the 
error messages come back.
