to remove the password you can try my md5 mod:

the URL will still be in the browser history but the password is changed to
the md5 of several inputs.

hi i have a big problem, in my portal the petition to the server web is an 
query_string (Get)
and the refresh window (pop up) contain the query string 
(/cgi-bin/$login=juan%20$password=aaaaa%20$macaddres.... etc.) and this 
direcction is stored in the history of the web servers.

What is the best solution to solved this horrible problem?
