gpg issue

hey all

I'm using nocat 0.81.20020808.20030311
gpg 1.0.6 (on both gateway and authserv)



when i attempt to login at the gateway with a valid username and 
password i get the following; (abbreviated for your sanity)

has anyone experienced this?
does anyone have any tidbits of wisdom about this failure?
