First welcome to NoCat.

I think that this may get better response on the NoCat list as this is 
mainly for wireless issues.

Someone correct me if I am wrong on that.

As for what you are trying to do, there is documentation on the site that 
address the issues of doing them both on one machine.

As for the network, unless I am missing something NoCat could care less what 
it is connected to. If the devices you are using are setup and working 
otherwise NoCat will function just fine with them. It works on the IPTables 
and manipulates the rules. Thus it doesn't care how the packets are 
delivered.

Of course I could have fried my last brain cell and be totally off my 
rocker. If so I am sure I will be corrected by someone. Since it is a laptop 
I have to ask, You do have two network devices?
