I work for a city government and we are trying to provide public access wireless in our library branch locations. We hope to allow users to login using their name and library card number for authentication. We have an authentication server that we are using as our primary source of authentication for all other library apps. It's is made by Innovative Interfaces, Inc. (http://www.iii.com/) and speaks sip2. There is an API into it called the Patron API. This is a web based interface that allows you to authenticate against the III server. Does anyone have any experience with the III server? Will NoCat work as our authentication gateway? How many users will it support? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
