I think you've got it.  The BuildAndReleaseOptions.html document gives separate recommendations for development vs. release builds.

Since SetConfig_EnvVar is no longer maintained, I assume that on Linux the configuration strategy is to start with env_var_Linux.status as a "known good" configuration, and then add or subtract from it based on the information in BuildAndReleaseOptions.html.



Are there notes on setting up for "development" vs "release" ?



Has anyone ever built OpenPegasus using SCons<http://www.scons.org/wiki/AboutSCons> .
