Hi list. I'm investigating the notion of implementing a CMPI provider. I would like to try to register one of the test providers in the source tree to watch it do something. I see there are also test clients for those as well. Can someone point me to the steps at maybe running one of those tests? As far as I can tell so far, one would need to create a .mof then run cimmof on it. Surely these are already created for these tests somewhere. More specifically, I am running the cimserver that comes with centos 6.5. I then built the source tree to get a copy of cimcli (should that have been in a package?). That works, and I can get other providers to respond with data. I now have the test clients and provider modules built in my bin and lib dirs. I just want to try to register/install/whatever one or more of those test providers with the existing installation. Thanks much for any direction. -- C.
