The OpenNMS team will be attending the Southern California Area Linux
Expo (SCALE), February 10-11, 2007 at The Westin Los Angeles Airport.

http://www.socallinuxexpo.org/scale5x/

We'll have a booth in their exhibition hall where we will be
demonstrating OpenNMS 1.3 as well as answering questions about
OpenNMS and pretty much just being around to chat with cool people
like yourselves.

I'm giving a talk at 10am on Sunday (http://www.socallinuxexpo.org/
scale5x/hours.php) about some OpenNMS case studies. I'm going to
examine the setup of one customer with nearly 600K data collection
values every five minutes (running 1.2) and another customer with
nearly 50,000 devices being monitored from one instance of OpenNMS
(running 1.3). I will also be talking about the use of the
distributed monitor where network availability can be monitored from
numerous remote locates back to a central OpenNMS instance.

Finally, we are hosting a Birds of a Feather session to chat about
OpenNMS. This is very informal and free form, so please feel free to
hit us with what you like about OpenNMS, what you don't like and
where we should go from here. (http://www.socallinuxexpo.org/scale5x/
events/bof.php).

Hope to see you there.

-T
