I am trying to get 1.3.10 plus this fix, so I checked out revision 8378 and proceeded to build Debian packages on a freshly installed 64-bit etch, after tweaking the changelog so it would build as 1.3.11-0 instead of 1.3.9. Will the official 1.3.11 be different than revision 8378? At this moment I am trying the steps I've outlined below with the 1.3.10 tag, I'll let you know if I run into trouble there too. I installed iplike and jicmp from the opennms repository, then installed the debs that I built. I got the install script ran, but I can't seem to get the gui working. Tomcat is getting exceptions, the relevant line of which seems to be this: Caused by: java.security.AccessControlException: access denied (java.io.FilePermission /usr/share/opennms/webapps/opennms/WEB-INF/classes/logging.properties read) I've tried with tomcat running as tomcat5.5 and as root. The file mentioned above does not exist. Is it possible to build a debian package for jetty instead of or in addition to the regular webapp?
