Building it on a real IA32 (i.e. x86, not x86_64) system seems to avoid the issue. I can't say for 100% certain that I'm right about this as there were a number of other uncontrolled variables in the systems where I was doing this testing (32-bit CentOS 5 in a VMware Fusion VM hosted on an x86_64 Core 2 Duo Mac vs. 32-bit Ubuntu feisty running directly on an AMD Athlon [not Athlon64] system). - -jeff -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.8 (Darwin) iEYEARECAAYFAkfISOQACgkQB3953+hexDpxvwCfeV8dHyAFgRZWiAQ+63I4bcvy mpsAnAmNvThVEjc9XDIh3oeCDxrekAs9 =myPw -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
