I was just going through the list of issues targeted for 21.0, and noticed https://issues.opennms.org/browse/NMS-8698 Does NMS-8968 address my issue? I can see it has subtasks for REST endpoint for poller/threshold/collectd/notifd configuration, which sounds like it might be what I'm looking for. Or should I be raising an issue for this? I think that the only way that you'll be able to relate outages to notifications is if the event creating outage is also associated with a notification. You'd have to get the eventID from the ReST API of the outage and query the notification's API using that eventID... if that works.
