using mib group ifType filter not working for cisco switches

Hi I need opennms to get ifHcInOctets, ifHcOutOctets and operStatus metrics from only physical interfaces of switch (which having multiple VLANs). I used ifType attribute from mib group tag and used ifType="6" (6 for the ethernet interface) in mib-interface group of mib2.xml. Extreme switch node in opennms only have the mentioned metrics for physical interfaces so its fine but we have problem with cisco nodes. In one of them which the primary interface is ethernet, only that interface have graphs and in another one which primary interface is a VLAN, no metrics for interffaces been gathered.
