Maybe it’s because your question is hidden in the text and not quite clearly formulated? If I understand it correctly Ø I need opennms to get ifHcInOctets, ifHcOutOctets and operStatus metrics from only physical interfaces of switch (which having multiple VLANs). So you only want measurements for one Interface per node? - You have a filter to collect data only for ifType=”6” interfaces - You have a cisco device where the primary interface is a VLAN - For this node no interface metrics are collected Questions: - do you have another filter to only collect from the primary interface? (never did this so I don’t know how to do it). - Did you check the interface type in the DB, are there any ifType=6 Interfaces active on this node or is this some special config – device with only serial lines or something like this? Ø In one of them which the primary interface is ethernet, only that interface have graphs I this a second issue? You wrote you need “metrics from only physical interfaces of switch” which is exactly what you get here – so this is no issue at all, am I right? -Michael ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Check out the vibrant tech community on one of the world's most engaging tech sites, Slashdot.org! http://sdm.link/slashdot _______________________________________________ Please read the OpenNMS Mailing List FAQ: http://www.opennms.org/index.php/Mailing_List_FAQ opennms-discuss mailing list To *unsubscribe* or change your subscription options, see the bottom of this page: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/opennms-discuss
