Hello, I am currently performing load testing to compare JRobin and Newts (and then prove that OpenNMS can fulfill our needs thanks to Newts) At the moment, I am using two virtual machines. One with OpenNMS and the other with an SNMP agent simulator to generate to load. So I'm beginning with JRobin but first I have a few questions, I already know that the bottleneck will be disk writes, but what exactly causes the holes in the graphs? Is it because the worker threads (from collectd?) are waiting for disk I/O and therefore can't collect data from SNMP agent? Thank you, Fred ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Check out the vibrant tech community on one of the world's most engaging tech sites, Slashdot.org! http://sdm.link/slashdot _______________________________________________ Please read the OpenNMS Mailing List FAQ: http://www.opennms.org/index.php/Mailing_List_FAQ opennms-discuss mailing list To *unsubscribe* or change your subscription options, see the bottom of this page: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/opennms-discuss
