Questions about the dashboard

Hello! Im new to OpenNMS and i really like it so far, but there are some things i dont understand. For example, how do i clear notifications from the dashboard? I was exploring a bit and created an notification for an event. Notifications were sent out and theyre shown on the dashboard. I acknowledged them but they wont disappear from the dashboard view!
