OpenNMS Distributed model

Hi all, I want to install OpenNMS in distributed model. One OpenNMS Web Server (Front-End) with One database server on separate machine. 192.168.1.1 Web Server. 192.168.1.2 Database Server. Is this possible? If yes, Can anybody help me to start with some "how to" document.
