Make sure that pg_hab.conf allows access from 192.168.1.1, that postgresql.conf is listening on all interfaces, and not just localhost, and that there are no firewall rules block access to port 5432 from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.2. 2) Edit opennms-datasources.xml and change localhost to 192.168.1.2 3) Run $OPENNMS_HOME/bin/install -dis and if everything is okay it should create the database on the remote server.
