Re: Monitoring Disk Space

I have it monitoring and graphing disk space for all my hosts now.

The earlier response about /etc/snmpd/snmpd.conf helped with the Linux hosts.

I was able to install and configure the SNMP agent on the windows hosts.
I install via add/remove/ Features.
I configured via services.

The only think I see outstanding in this is getting alerts. I don't want to allow all the threshold alerts and many of them I don't care about. I just want to see disk space thresholds. And I'd like to set the threshold and reset points.

It is up to the snmp agent to report it. I see it on win 2003 server
targets, not sure about other versions. The snmp-informant agent
should do it if the native version doesn't. It might be possible to
use WMI for this too.
