Has anyone received this error when installing OpenNMS on ubuntu 10.04 lts
I’ve edited the pg_hba.conf so that the local auth method is trust, I was able to create the opennms db with –u postgres

I’m able to connect to the network listener..
$ psql -U postgres --host=localhost opennms
psql (8.4.9)
SSL connection (cipher: DHE-RSA-AES256-SHA, bits: 256)
Type "help" for help.

opennms=#

When I try to run the iplike install it prompts for a password... and there isn’t a password for postgres. hitting enter just gives “sorry try again”

sudo -u postgres install_iplike.sh
[sudo] password for postgres:
Sorry, try again.
[sudo] password for postgres:

Thanks!
Scott
