Hi I am trying to install openmms, on Windows 7, 64bit using the latest version, downloaded today. When I put in the path to my JDK (latest version, also downloaded today) C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_45 It tells me that: "The chosen JDK has the wrong version (available<not found> required 1.5.0 - 99.0.0) Should this version be used anyway?" If I append \bin or \lib - I get "The chosen directory does not contain the required product" If I ignore the error and persist with the installation, it fails later with the following error: Exception in thread "main" org.opennms.core.schema.MigrationException: an error occurred getting the version from the database at org.opennms.core.schema.Migrator.getDatabaseVersion(Migrator.java:179) at org.opennms.core.schema.Migrator.validateDatabaseVersion(Migrator.java:207) at org.opennms.install.Installer.install(Installer.java:226) at org.opennms.install.Installer.main(Installer.java:949) Caused by: org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: FATAL: password authentication failed for user "admin" I know that the password is correct, because it works with the pgAdmin console. Do I need to create a db named openmms, in pgAdmin before running the installer? I assumed that that was going to create the db for me. Can you please tell me what I am doing wrong/how to resolve the issue?
