If you have some authoritative list or database to work from you might
ultimately want to convert to provisioning instead of discovery to get
better control of the node labels and what is monitored.  Meanwhile,
discovered nodes should pick up names from either reverse dns   (does
'nslookup IP_address'  from the opennms server really give the right
name?) or the hostname picked up from snmp.
