I’m new to opennms and need some assistance on the install. I’m using a fresh 2008 R2 VM Server. I followed the install guide here http://www.opennms.org/wiki/Installation:Windows I installed JDK 8.0_25, PostgreSQL 9.4 and the standalone opennms installer 14.0.2-1. I was sure to follow all the instructions in the guide. When I get to the point of running the .bat file, I notice that an opennms.bat is not the bin dir, but there is a start.bat, so I run that. The .bat file runs for a little while (I don’t notice any errors) and then stops at: Creating topology provider Returning enhanced topology provider While the command prompt is still open on the server I can log into opennms from the web browsers, but if I close it I no longer can log in. I thought maybe the “creating topology provider” took some time but I let it go for a few hours. At this point I’m not sure what to do, I see the opennms database in PostgreSQL and I can log in if I keep the start.bat cmd window open but once I close it I no longer can. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.
