Jetty Interface Configuration Problem

I have installed OpenNMS (20?) on CentOS 7. Log activity indicates
start/stop/restart activities as expected, but I can't access the UI
through http://10.0.1.96:8980/opennms.

I have modified opennms.properties to listen on correct IP and have enabled
SSL in jetty.xml. Port 8980 is open on the system but on TCP6 which is
curious:

netstat -an | grep 8980

tcp6       0      0 10.0.1.96:*8980*          :::*                    LISTEN


 Any guidance greatly appreciated.
