The procedure to cross-compile PopTop 1.3.4 by using MIPS toolchain

Hello there,

I am a newbie to VPN server stuff. After some OSS VPN server investigation, 
I would like to port(ing) PPTP server daemon "PopTop 1.3.4" to MIPS 
processor platform. I don't know how to get it started. Does anyone have any 
experience to port "PopTop 1.3.4" into embedded Linux such as ARM or MIPS 
processor? Any help will be appreciated.
