Hi everyone, this has stumped me for the past 6 hours and I'm at a loss.
I've got about 50 users who VPN in without issue (for many years), all with
the same type of laptop, even same image. However this one user is having
issues (since being given a different laptop (the same as most users)), and
I'm not exactly sure what is causing it.

I'm using:

pptpd v1.3.0
pppd version 2.4.3

The user will VPN in from Windows 7, it creates a successful connection,
gets an IP address and SOMETIMES they can even ping devices on our network
for a few seconds, then they seemingly drop off the network, the VPN
maintains it's connection, however it states "no network access". If I look
at my poptop server I see this over and over:

Apr 17 12:53:13 thewall pppd[19048]: Unsupported protocol 0xb441 received
Apr 17 12:53:13 thewall pppd[19048]: Unsupported protocol 0xeb received
Apr 17 12:53:13 thewall pppd[19048]: Unsupported protocol 0x63 received
Apr 17 12:53:13 thewall pppd[19048]: Unsupported protocol 0xaaf2 received

Apr 17 12:53:14 thewall pppd[19048]: Unsupported protocol 0x5b received
Apr 17 12:53:14 thewall pppd[19048]: Unsupported protocol 0x20d6 received
Apr 17 12:53:15 thewall pppd[19048]: Unsupported protocol 0x883a received
Apr 17 12:53:15 thewall pppd[19048]: Unsupported protocol 'Ascom Timeplex'
(0x43) received
Apr 17 12:53:15 thewall pppd[19048]: Unsupported protocol 0xa4a4 received
Apr 17 12:53:15 thewall pppd[19048]: Unsupported protocol 0x40ca received
Apr 17 12:53:15 thewall pppd[19048]: Unsupported protocol 0x489d received

Apr 17 12:53:15 thewall pppd[19048]: Unsupported protocol 0x42 received

When they first connect and are able to ping devices on the remote network
I don't see any of the unsupported protocol messages, then as soon as they
can't ping anymore, those protocol messages come up repating non-stop.

My /etc/ppp/options file:

## CHANGE TO SUIT YOUR SYSTEM

If there is any more information I can provide please let me know, I've
tried so many things I'm losing track :/

Thanks.
