Was there a later kernel? The reason I ask is that the pptp project has seen some problems in the past that were due to kernel bugs in the MPPE kernel module. Unsupported protocol messages were seen. Please capture pppd debug logs and share them. These logs would show the negotiated options at the start of the connection. The negotiations can be compared between working and failing client. http://marc.info/?l=poptop-server&m=110237762920868&w=2 is an old message with a summary for how to enable debug logs. -- James Cameron http://quozl.linux.org.au/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ For Developers, A Lot Can Happen In A Second.
