I'm still stuck on this problem, but I have made some progress... I apparently have the exact same problem as stated in this thread, relating to android and their ppp implementation: https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=4706 Basically, a VPN connection is created, and maintained, but after passing data over it for awhile, it stalls and data no longer transfers, however the connection is maintained, encryption fails and you start getting tons of "unsupported protocols" in the syslog on the VPN server. Disabling encryption on the VPN server appears to fix this, however that's not a good solution, the odd thing is I'm having this problem with a Windows XP and Windows 7 workstation (client) (same house hold), the only thing I can think of is that the modem for the internet connection is faulty, however the ISP wont replace it since the internet is working. Any suggestions anyone on what might be happening exactly? Or a way to prove it's the modem? On Mon, Apr 23, 2012 at 5:58 PM, James Cameron <[email protected]> wrote: > Was there a later kernel?
