Re: problem getting client to connect via pptpd

I added the options auth and debug to /etc/ppp/options
I don't seem to have a syslog.conf file but I have a rsyslog.conf file  
so I added the option
daemon.* /var/log/ppplog
then restarted rsyslog and syslog

Nothing appears in the new log files.
I did a grep on messages and got this:
