Found some links on the web for YUM install, but these are aimed at Centos not Redhat Linux. Key is that I need to install EPEL first, and Redhat cannot find that either. yum -y install epel-release Loaded plugins: langpacks, product-id, search-disabled-repos, subscription-manager No package epel-release available. Error: Nothing to do [root@ftp00 ~]# rpm -iUvh http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/7/x86_64/e/epel-release-7-5.noarch.rpm Retrieving http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/7/x86_64/e/epel-release-7-5.noarch.rpm curl: (22) The requested URL returned error: 404 Not Found error: skipping http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/7/x86_64/e/epel-release-7-5.noarch.rpm - transfer failed [root@ftp00 ~]# yum install proftpd proftpd-utils Loaded plugins: langpacks, product-id, search-disabled-repos, subscription-manager No package proftpd available. No package proftpd-utils available. Error: Nothing to do Any guidance would be appreciated. Paul M.
