[Proftpd-user] AV Scanner integration (ClamAV alternative)

Hi all

We are evaluating options to integrate anti-malware scanning into proftpd.

Have been using ClamAV with mod_clamav for a while, which works fine itself but ClamAV is a real resource hog and the detection rate is quite low with the default signatures.

Are there any modules besides mod_clamav? We are for example evaluating ESET Server Security for Linux but did not find a way to integrate this into proftpd.
There is the ICAP protocol designed for content scanning but we did not find a module for proftpd supporting it.

Anyone has experience doing something like this?
