Hello everyone, I just did a port scan of my proftpd server and here is what it came back with. PORT STATE SERVICE VERSION 2222/tcp open ssh ProFTPD mod_sftp (protocol 2.0) 2223/tcp filtered rockwell-csp2 Warning: OSScan results may be unreliable because we could not find at least 1 open and 1 closed port Device type: general purpose Running: Linux 4.X|5.X OS CPE: cpe:/o:linux:linux_kernel:4 cpe:/o:linux:linux_kernel:5 OS details: Linux 4.15 - 5.6, Linux 5.0 - 5.4 Uptime guess: 17.077 days (since Mon Jul 12 18:25:28 2021) Network Distance: 13 hops TCP Sequence Prediction: Difficulty=259 (Good luck!) IP ID Sequence Generation: All zeros Is there any way to change or remove the version Information (ProFTPD mod_sftp (protocol 2.0)) ? Kinda helps a wanabe hacker. Thanks for your thoughts.
