[Proftpd-user] Automated report for IP addresses banned in proftpd

Have a proftpd server working with mod_ban.  I can see IPs/users banned in the log files, but after the timeout, they go back to unbanned.   Was looking for a way to create an automated report for all blocked IPs so that I can either update my firewall or add the ips/subnets to the proftpd blacklist.   Was looking at fail2ban, but as noted in a different post, it doesn't look like this approach will work as the access is blocked  by mod_ban before it gets to the log that fail2ban reads.

Any suggestions?
