[Proftpd-user] Trouble starting proftpd

Good Afternoon, I have trouble starting proftpd, (sfgadmin@nyvmapc20)> uname -a Linux nyvmapc20 4.18.0-372.19.1.el8_6.x86_64 #1 SMP Mon Jul 18 11:14:02 EDT 2022 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux (sfgadmin@nyvmapc20)> (sfgadmin@nyvmapc20)> proftpd -v ProFTPD Version 1.3.6e Error from starting proftpd as non-root: 2022-11-01 17:29:34,737 nyvmapc20 proftpd[732075] 10.85.55.110: SocketBindTight in effect, ignoring DefaultServer 2022-11-01 17:29:34,749 nyvmapc20 proftpd[732075] 10.85.55.110: mod_ctrls/0.9.5: error: unable to bind to local socket: Address already in use 2022-11-01 17:29:34,750 nyvmapc20 proftpd[732075] 10.85.55.110: unable to set UID to 99, current UID: 18022 Error from starting proftpd as root: 2022-11-01 13:06:23,754 nyvmapc20 proftpd[726986] 10.85.55.110: SocketBindTight in effect, ignoring DefaultServer PROFTPD cannot be started as expected. Initially, the starting process complained about sftp host keys. I have recreated the host keys. Any suggestions and comments will be greatly appreciated.
