Andrew,

same here for a simliar service.

I thought I drilled it down to users, who start uploads
and leave the computer... some say it was broken after
the screensaver went on, some say the harddrive "fell asleep"
(which would only be possible, if the ftp client has a big cache)
and other strange reports.

less than 1% report problems i have NEVER been able to
reproduce!

Please let me know, if you find out ANYTHING...

I tried to tell some users: "Well, I really want to find out,
what exactly is happening" and offered some cash
for their test time... no success so far - even these
folks were unable to reproduce the same error on the
same upload!
