    The problem seems to be in pure-ftpd. Have you googled to see if
more people have the *exact* problem you're having?

    Without actually seeing pure-ftpd at work, is difficult to
isolate the problem :( Do your logs show anything unusual?

    I think it works under cygwin. Otherwise people would have
noticed. Try to investigate your pureftpd-logs, and post here the
options you used to build it and the options you use for invoking it
(and any other relevant information you want). The problem is a bit
weird :??

    And please, could you stop topposting? ;) It makes difficult to
follow the thread ;)
