Did you compile rdesktop from source? If so, you can add --enable-debug --enable-debug-smartcard to your ./configure command line to get (much) more verbosity from rdesktop regarding the smartcard. if the problem is not obvious, try running it under gdb: gdb --args rdesktop -r scard [...]; when it crashes type 'where' and send the output to this list. Also what versions of everything involved did you end up with? dpkg -l libpcsclite1 libpcsclite-dev pkg-config. And what version of rdesktop are you using? > -----Original Message----- > From: Sven Kabelin [mailto:[email protected]] > Sent: Wednesday, November 18, 2009 8:07 AM > To: [email protected] > Subject: [rdesktop-devel] Rdesktop with scard support > > Hello, > > I have a problem with -scard support in rdesktop and I hope anyone has > a idea what's the problem is. > > The followind steps are made: > > - install a debian system > - apt-get install libpcsclitel > - apt-get install libpcsclite-dev > - apt-get install pkg-config > > I would like to use a Card Reader SCR 335 with Datev secure card. > > Reader is detected under Linux and the reader is hand over to the > Terminal Server session, where's visible.
