The Windows systems are configured to allow Terminal Services access, the firewall port is configured to allow connections, and Remote Desktop from a Windows XP system works with no problems. The same rdesktop to a similar configured Windows XP system works with no problems. I opened up the firewall, I told Vista to allow connections from all versions and WinXP connects fine. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2006-09-05 22:34 Message: Logged In: NO I believe that Longhorn requires 2048 bit encryption to get a connection and rdesktop only does 512 as per the Windows 2003/XP standards. Anyone know if the rdesktop team is looking into this? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=381348&aid=1467337&group_id=24366 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Get a FREE DOWNLOAD! and learn more about uberSVN rich system, user administration capabilities and model configuration.
