Category: None Group: None >Status: Closed Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: cut and paste Initial Comment: Hi, I have been using rdesktop for a long time and want to say Thank You for such great software. But I do want something more. Copy and paste. I see in the source for 1.3.1 that I recently downloaded a bunch of code that looks like copy and past code, but I can't seem to find out how to use it. In my X windows, I hold the left mouse button and drag across what I want then put the pointer where I want the text to go, and then hit the right and left mouse buttons at once. I can do this with gpm running or not. This does not work between X and my rdesktop window. Also, if I have wordpad in the rdesktop window and use it's copy and paste, I cannot seem to move anything to or from any editor in X that has copy/past functions. Are there hot keys to start the copy/paste operation? Is it simply not supported? If it is not supported, then what is the file xclip.c all about? Sorry, I am not much of a c programmer. 'PRIMARYCLIPBOARD' looks at both PRIMARY and CLIPBOARD when sending data to server. 'CLIPBOARD' looks at only CLIPBOARD. And try the newest version of rdesktop.
