rdesktop and SSL

Hello We are running rdesktop to allow our Linux customers to use Windows terminal services (running RDP 5.2). Alas we got problems since we enabled (per strict requirements) SSL/TLS only with high level of encryption. If I understood right - rdesktop does not support SSL since only with high level of encryption it is still working. Is it true ? Maybe I am doing something wrong ? Any advices, workarounds ? Thanks !
