Anti-aliased font support

I run Windows XP with seamlessrdp. When I connect to the Windows box from rdesktop, none of my fonts are anti-aliased, and it looks pretty bad on my screen. Is the lack of anti-aliasing a normal issue, or have I done something wrong? I have increased the bit depth for rdp to 24, so that shouldn't be an issue.
