Re: rdesktop 1.6 crashes ubuntu 8.10 (intrepid) how to build 1.5

Hi again,

I  figured out how to build rdesktop by first running:

sudo apt-get install rdesktop openssl libssl-dev libx11-dev

(so I guess I did not have all the necessary libraries). I then tried to 
run rdesktop from the directory I had it installed in. I did a

rdesktop --help
and confirmed I had rdesktop1.5 installed

I tried

rdesktop mymachine

and again I logged in, the window started to draw, the remote mouse 
froze, the fan sped up and my whole system crashed. Not sure what to do 
at this point other than install 8.04?
