Question about 24-bit color

Hello -- I am trying to determine whether I have a configuration problem 
on the remote machine, the local machine, or if rdesktop simply does not 
support 24-bit color?

I get the following message, connecting from rdesktop 1.6 on Fedora 9 to 
Windows XP SP3:
WARNING: Remote desktop does not support colour depth 24; falling back to 16

I am using the following command:
rdesktop -z -x lan -a 24 -g 1280x999 192.168.2.200


Any suggestions? The warning message wasn't clear to me whether the 
problem was local or remote.
