Hi, I'm sorry if this has already been asked. The list archives on sourceforge are horrible to navigate and I could find no search function. I am trying to run rdesktop in seamless mode for a Windows virtual machine running on kvm. What I am trying to accomplish is to run Photoshop and the Windows Messenger in my kde desktop as normal windows, without having them inside a virtual machine window taking up a lot of screen space. I installed the seamlessrdp shell, and I'm trying to run this from my debian host console: rdesktop -A -s "c:\seamlessrdp\seamlessrdpshell.exe C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\taskmgr.exe" terribus:3389 -u [user] -p [password] What I get is a window showing me the full desktop. According to the man page and the site I got the instructions from (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SeamlessVirtualization), I should have just gotten the taskmgr.exe program window, not a full desktop, which is what I'm trying to avoid. Maybe I've got this all wrong, but I've noticed that every time I get stuck like this there's some obvious little thing I am missing, so obvious that nobody even mentions it. Is there something I should be doing? Is it a problem with kvm or qemu? Does this only work with VirtualBox?
