White cursor on a white background

Hi all,
 
When connected to my terminal server, the text selection cursor is
completely white making it impossible to see on anything with a white
background (such as word outlook notepad and even the login screen).
 
I've used rdesktop on a number of other setups before, but never had this
problem till now. Anyone have an idea why it happened?
 
Using rdesktop 1.6.0 on Ubuntu 9.04 to connect to a MS Windows 2003 Terminal
Server.
