Is rdeskktop on par with Vista RDP client?

Hello

To save battery lifeon my laptop, I'm thinking of booting up Linux in 
RAM, stop the HD, and connect to my home desktop with rDestktop.

I've never used rDesktop before and would like to know if; 
feature-wise, it's on par with the RDP client that comes with Vista 
or it's still a bit rough?
