Rdesktop 1.60 - Drive Mapping - Windows Server 2008

Hello Guys,

I'm experiencing some issues with drive mapping and windows server 2008. 
I'm working on ubuntu 8.04 machine with rdesktop 1.6.
Basically i'm just trying to map a 1GB USB flash drive. The mapping 
seems to work quite ok at first glance.
The issue arises if I try to delete a non empty folder. (e.g. folder 
with one text file).

I select the folder, press del/or right mouse delete and the folder 
disappaers as used to. After pressing F5 for refresh, the folder 
reappears magically.

The same process works fine connecting to windows server 2003. After a 
little bit of investigation, I'm pretty sure about the following:

1)Pressing delete on a folder on windows server side executes a 
unlink/rmdir - combination on linux client side.
2)Since rmdir fails per definition on non empty folder, the right 
sequence is
      1)unlink all files in this folder
      2)rmdir if the folder is empty

3)This is exactly what happens, connecting to windows server 2003


4)The problem with windows server 2008 seems to be, that rdesktop tries 
to do the rmdir in the first place. Obviously it's not pretty suprising 
that this is failing.


So, I would guess that there were some modifications to the rdp-protocol 
in windows server 2008? After a look on the rdesktop-source 
(disk_close() in disk.c) it seems, that
it's the windows server job to send the rdp-requests in the right sequence?

But... I'm just guessing. Maybe someone out there already experienced 
similar issues or knows the answer to solve this.
