Problems with drive mapping and network share

Hi, I'm facing a problem on win2008 sp2, when I try to copy files from the mapped drive directly to a network share. It looks like the server tries to copy it directly from the remote machine (the one with rdesktop running) to the remote fileserver. I only get a "permission denied". Everything works fine, if I copy the file from the remote machine to a temporary folder on the win2008 server and copy it from there to the remote file server. Any ideas? Is there a new security feature, or a speed enhancement feature in SP2.
