Re: rdesktop hangs frequently

I also get rdesktop slow-downs. Gentoo to XP pro.
I say slow-downs because I see the cause of it is a flood of communication between the two. IE, my network usage rockets to 1 to 10 mbit. It drops to normal as soon as I close the rdesktop window.  opening another rd window can repeat the problem within 10 to 80 seconds. Its very annoying. Only solution Ive found is to reboot both PCs. Then I'm good for at least another week.  I played with arguments like clipboard and no sound but havent found any smoking guns.
